Bermuda

If you’ve never visited Bermuda, you’re definitely missing out on quite an experience. Don’t be fooled by the laid-back vibe. There’s a lot to see with magnificent views that will stay with you for a lifetime and a lot going on at this island paradise. Bermuda may be commonly known for its turquoise ocean, powdery pink-sand beaches and Bermuda’s favorite rum drink, the Dark and Stormy, but there’s much more to this island paradise than folks zipping around on scooters wearing brightly colored shorts, Bermuda is a golfers paradise. Did I forget to mention it’s only a 2 to 3 hour non-stop plane ride from Atlanta? Very pleased to read this! Ready to spend four lovely nights in Bermuda with my daughter. We were excited and off to an awesome start, about to have some fun girl time! Wooohoooo! Finally we arrive pink sands, turquoise water, and baby blue skies....

Augusta

Recounting my childhood in this beautiful Georgia City along the Savannah River, goes without saying Augusta is at its peak in spring but at it’s finest in early April. I grew up thinking spring break begin in Augusta the week of Masters, the first full week in April when hundreds of thousands of golf fans descend on Augusta for the Masters Tournament, World-renowned, Augusta National Golf Club, known as one of the most exclusive in the world. The atmosphere makes the medium-sized city come alive every April, but it’s largely fueled by visiting companies’ hospitality tents and catered parties for those who prefer that and the culture with egg salad sandwiches and fairway views. The Masters are unlike any other kind of major, standing alone in a category of pure perfection and greatness. You can’t help but smile, feel the warmth and realize this beautiful...

Grand Cayman

My trip to Grand Cayman, What a great experience and super funny. I had a fabulous vaca and spending time in Grand Cayman was absolutely perfect. The Catamaran Sail to Stingray City was one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever done!  We set sail onboard the 60-foot “Cockatoo” and headed to Stingray City to swim with the stingrays and even pet them. It was pretty incredible. The sandbar we went to is about 25 minutes from the shore and is only about 3-4 feet deep. The stingrays swim right up to you. I could’ve even held one. What they don’t tell you, though, is that the stingrays like to get a little action from the tourists. Not even kidding. One did pucker up for a kiss with me. I’m not saying I didn’t like it, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. Not complaining, though....

Chicago?

Looking for travel tips on what to do in Chicago?   I truly believe (and it has been confirmed by others) that Chicago is one of the best cities in the United States to visit. The restaurants, bars, travel, and attractions. Boom! Hands down victory. Chicago is freaking ahmazzzzzzziing, I just had to share it with you in my lifestyle blog for women. Sure, there’s never a dull moment in Chicago — but even more so if you’re clued into the best places to hit. And, who says just because temps are dropping, the fun has to stop? With that in mind, I rounded up some amazing things to do before retreating into full-blown winter hibernation mode. (you know…..just before you Start the movie, read, watch TV or just daydream) This time of year practically begs for a cozy infinity scarf and great pair of sunnies...

Grove Park Inn

Grove Park Inn       I absolutely love to travel, and I love to blog about it in my lifestyle blog for women. So when my hubby said he was going to Asheville for a Fall Leadership Conference, he would have to stay over a couple of days and did I want to join him, of course I said, “Oh, H*LL YEAH!!!” OK, I totally did not say that. I would never say that, especially out loud to the nice man that works twelve-hour days. But I will tell you that I absolutely yelled that inside my head. And possibly out loud to Sherri, Christina, and maybe a few others. I’m not entirely sure, there was a lot of happy dancing, bra-waving and glory shouting going on at the time. Mostly from me.  Grove Park Inn is a luxury resort with a spa, a golf...

Traveling has been fun, but it was a super long trip. We visited Civitavecchia Italy, Naples Italy, Valletta Malta, Piraeus Greece, Mykonos Greece, Kusadasi Turkey, Rhodes Greece, Santorini Greece, Chania Crete,Venice Italy. We began our getaway in Rome where we were greeted by the friendly staff at Hotel Adriano they gathered our luggage and escorted us to our room where the wooden shutters opened to the view of the cobblestone roads where any direction leads to just another detailed ornate designed structure from artist like Bernini and Michelangelo. I managed to squeeze in some tourism and fun! So, for those of you who haven’t already seen the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain, here are a few fun recommendations of what to check out when in Rome! The emasculate fountains supplied fresh drinking water to quench your thirst from the shopping.      ...
